Benjamin
Maund F.L.S. was highly appreciated by the excellent quality of
his botanical editions 'The Botanic Garden' and
'The Botanist' , published in the period 1820-1840. Many
illustrations in these editions he let made by women. So made
Mrs. Withers 100 from the 250 plates in 'The Botanist'.
